My first encounter with a pedophile was with a female one. She tricked me into thinking we were friends, she hugged me and sat close to me but she never even told me her name. I was five. She invited me over to “give me some stuffed animals” many times but I wouldn’t go because I’ve been taught to never go anywhere without my parents or their permission. My mom and my best friend’s mother noticed this shady lady soon and the next time she showed up my mom walked up to her, livid, and told her “I don’t want to see you near my daughter ever again”. I’ve never seen her again and I wonder if the only reason she stuck around at all was to groom me.
A pedophile is a pedophile regardless or sex, gender, age, sexuality, ethnicity, race, etc.
